On the face of it, the brief to HMRC was relatively straightforward – the implementation of a new graphic identity designed by Interbrand. However, with two government departments, more than 30 in-house design and brand managers, and over 1,000 sites, this project combined politics, diplomacy, logistics, consultancy and hands-on work - a real challenge.
Wide scope
To date, we have completed three key phases of work for HMRC: an overview of HR resources, roles and systems; the re-engineering of design and brand management processes; a the production of a comprehensive set of sign guidelines for all ports and airports. We’ve also been involved in a number of test projects to implement new signage.
