Our long term relationship with Waitrose & Partners and knowledge of their brand and stores meant that we were the ideal partners to develop and maintain the design manuals that govern brand application across the Waitrose & Partners' large-format and convenience store networks.
We bring design thinking to every aspect of the process, both the look and feel of the documents themselves - making sure they’re as accessible and usable as possible - and the content - making sure it’s logical, accurate and represents the original brand intent.
The documents comprise over 200 pages of detailed specifications for every aspect of store planning and the application of all aspects of the supermarket environment - from floor and wall finishes to lighting and furniture. Since the original project, we’ve been retained to update the documents two or three times per year to ensure that guidance stays up to date.
