For this month’s #meettheteam interview we’ve spent some time getting to know Katie, a.k.a Henbest, who is one of our more experienced project managers.

Like a few others at Integrity, Katie graduated from Brunel University and joined the team in 2011. She is a people person with a keen eye for detail and a calm temperament, which makes her an invaluable member of the team. She has worked on a range of clients and specialises in brand consistency and implementation of across all environments.

Hello Katie……

Tea or coffee?
TEA, all day, every day for me. The only exception to this is a hot chocolate with all of the trimmings, which I have been prone to ordering in client meetings (cheeky grin). 

The only time I will drink coffee is in a cocktail. Expresso martinis are my favourite but I don’t drink those before midday in the office….Katie you dark horse!

Favourite YouTube video?
The one that comes to mind that I have seen recently is by the Stylist magazine and it’s about a group of men wearing heels for a day. I love the fact that they can’t walk down the stairs or even down the street without falling over. I would like the men in our office to try it out! 

What’s your guilty pleasure?
I have a few. My foodie guilty pleasure is chocolate, I love it. My sporty guilty pleasure is Rugby. I like going to watch a game of Rugby because I enjoy the sport itself and the people that play it!

Katie recalls a game she attended with her fiancé and he had to leave her in the stands to get refreshments, this happened to be when the England team came over to the corner of the pitch that Katie was standing todo their pre-match stretching……Katie couldn’t have been happier.

What part of your job do you enjoy the most?
The implementation side of projects. I get a big sense of achievement and satisfaction when something that I have played a part in creating, designing and putting into manufacture is then implemented. I like to see things through to completion.

What’s your favourite board game?
Monopoly because I always win. My brother has refused to play with me again, after I have spent years beating him. If only it was real money, Katie would be a millionaire!

Who’s your celebrity doppelganger?
Well, the most common is Wednesday Addams, from The Addams Family. I think it’s the contrast between my dark hair and pale skin, I can’t see it myself! Luckily it’s quite an old film.

What is your biggest blooper moment at work?
Well it involves a team away day, a trip to the zoo and an innocent comment about a gorilla's bum but I am going to leave it there because it is too embarrassing to have on a blog.
