01We’re back with more #meettheteam interviews and the latest person we’d like to introduce you to is Becca, one of our more experienced designers who takes the lead in our creative and marketing projects.

Like a few others at Integrity, Becca graduated from Brunel University and joined the team in 2014. During her time with us, she has worked on a range of clients from, Sainsbury’s to Center Parcs and specialises in creative and strategic thinking.

Hello Becca...

Tea or coffee?
It has to be tea. Just a good old builder’s brew with milk and no sugar. Unless I’m on the road and then I go all out with a frothy large cappuccino and some luxury fruit toast from Starbucks (I’m a massive fan).

What’s your guilty pleasure?
When it comes down to work my guilty pleasure would have to be all things organised; from a well-structured folder with colour swatches and packaged fonts to a colour-coded spreadsheet.

When outside of work it would have to be TV programmes about food. I seriously can’t get enough. You name it and I probably watch it, from the good old Bake Off to Mystery Diners.

Favourite animated film?
Ratatouille for sure! What can I say, it’s about food and cooking after all. But also about a character that follows and achieves their dreams no matter what others think of them. It’s just such a great storyline and definitely pulls at the heartstrings.

Can you remember what it was that made you want to get into the field of design?
To be honest I don’t think it was one thing in particular. My parents separated when I was very young and spending one on one quality time with them both was always a key thing for me and to do that I would help out with decorating and DIY (we moved around quite a lot).

I just really loved being creative, hands-on and thinking outside the box from the word go. And then when I went to school; design technology, maths, and physics were all subjects that felt right to me. Don’t get me wrong I had to work very hard for them but they all just seemed to fit into place and I knew they were for me.

What part of your job do you enjoy the most?
The analytical and creative side. I love looking at things from our clients and their customers’ point of view and really digging down into their needs, wants and expectations. Some of my most recent examples would be carrying out a customer research project for SEAT which aims to help shape their POS strategy for the future and the ongoing development of our own marketing assets here at Integrity such as the monthly postcards, quarterly emails and blog articles.

How do you get over a creative hump?
I turn to the internet, there are so many places out there for inspiration, Pinterest being my favourite. If I’m designing a logo or a new identity I need to have a look at what else is out there to see what works, what doesn’t work and how I can design something that truly delivers the brief.

What’s your favourite board game?
Rummikub. It’s a tile-based game, sort of like Scrabble but with numbers and colours. The aim of the game is to get rid of all the tiles on your rack before anyone else, by manipulating the tiles already laid on the table by other players. I believe it’s based on the card game Rummy but I love that there are no language barriers and is a great laugh for all ages.

Who’s your celebrity doppelganger?
I don’t see it but all these celebrity look-a-like apps say, Anne Hathaway. But if you were to ask me which character resembles me the most it would have to be Monica from Friends. She’s super organised, loves cooking and playing the host and has a widely competitive side which I think sums me up pretty well.

What have you achieved that you're most proud of?
It would have to be stepping onto the property ladder this time last year at the age of 25. It took a lot of scrimping and saving but it’s such as great feeling to call a house a home. Since getting out of rented property my boyfriend and I were also able to add a member to our family, our little Shiba Inu called Pepsi.
