As well as implementing the new Waitrose & Partners’ brand across the store portfolio, we’ve had the pleasure of delivering the brand identity at Leckford Estate, the only UK supermarket-owned farm.
Working alongside Pentagram, we’ve delivered key signage ready for Waitrose & Partners to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the farm. The identity produced by Pentagram reflects the heritage of the Estate, established in 1929. This heritage was translated using locally sourced and manufactured timber slat signage elements with traditional signwriting undertaken by a local artisan.
The process of sign writing starts with the transfer of the logo to the sign with chalk dust, followed by meticulously executed hand painted lettering.
Integrity managed the process of design and approvals, drew up each signage element, found local contractors, managed the manufacture and installation and briefed the artisan sign-writer to convert artworks into paper templates. And of course, we were there on site making sure everything goes to plan… never a stone unturned!
